What we store, what we do not, and the rights you have.
The short version
Reading this site is anonymous. There are no adverts, no analytics, no tracking and no cookies. The only thing this site ever stores on your device is what you tick in our tracker tool, and only if you use it.
If you join our newsletter we keep your email address until you unsubscribe. That is the only personal data we hold.
Reading the site
We do not set cookies and we do not use any third-party analytics service. Nothing about you is sent anywhere else: the fonts, the images and the stylesheet are all served from this site, so no other company learns that you were here.
Our web server keeps an ordinary access log, which records the address of the page requested, the time, and the internet address the request came from. It is kept for 14 days and used only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. We do not combine it with anything else and we do not try to identify anyone from it.
The tracker tool
Our tracker keeps your list in your own browser, using local storage on your device. It never leaves your browser, we never see it, and clearing your browsing data removes it. If you ask it to email you your list, that is covered by the newsletter section below.
Local storage is technically the same kind of thing as a cookie, so we mention it rather than pretending the site stores nothing at all.
The newsletter
If you sign up, we store your email address, the page you signed up from, the date, and the wording you agreed to. That last one is our record that you asked to hear from us.
Signing up is double opt-in: we send one email asking you to confirm, and you are not on the list until you click it. If you never confirm, the record is deleted within 30 days.
We use your address to send the newsletter and nothing else. We never sell it, never rent it, and never pass it to anyone outside the suppliers who help us send the emails. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing is immediate.
Our lawful basis is consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Replies to us
If you email us, we keep the message so we can answer it and so we have a record if the same question comes up again. If you write to us about something we published and we would like to quote you, we will ask first, in writing, and we will not use your name unless you tell us to.

Fleeta Limited is the data controller, registered in England and Wales under company number 16675897, registered office 50 Princes Street, Ipswich IP1 1RJ, United Kingdom, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under number ZC229278.
Data is stored on servers in the European Economic Area.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to what we are doing with it and ask us to restrict it. For the newsletter, unsubscribing does all of this at once, and we will delete the record entirely if you ask.
Email hello@healthysnacking.co.uk and we will answer within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes
If we change this notice we will change the date at the top. If we ever start doing something materially different with your data, we will tell subscribers by email before it happens, not afterwards.
